Z Bar Soi 6 Pattaya

Z Bar Soi 6 PattayaZ Bar was formerly Bret bar, one of the most popular bars in Soi 6. It changed ownership and name in March 2011. It remains just as popular but has had a complete overhaul by the new owners although the general layout remains pretty much the same.. It is still a large open bar with pool table.

Kitty Bar Ban ChangA new bar has opened on the Ban Chang Strip – Kitty Bar. Opened by one of the girls from Moonshine Bar it is located on the premises of the former Bull Ring Bar.

This bar seems to have more reincarnations than I have hot dinners having had four names and owners in the last two years.

Samila restaurant Ban ChangSamila Restaurant and Coffee Shop is located at the top end of the Ban Chang Strip (Offshore Pub end) in the same group of new shophouses as Mam bar and Roxy bar.

The food here is excellent and well priced. We eat from here almost every trip to Ban Chang as they will deliver it to any of the other bars for you.

The menu is mainly Thai but they do great home made burgers and also shepherds pie too if you fancy a bit of western food.

Nooky Bar Ban Chang

Nooky Bar, or Nookie bar, is not on the strip, it is located next to Tesco Lotus on Sukhumvit Road. If you turn into the Tesco Lotus you can find it on the right hand side about 80 metres down.

It is a traditional Thai Karaoke bar but has become very popular with no Thai’s as it opens around 23,00 and goes on until the early hours meaning you can leave the Ban Chang Strip at closing time (midnight) and carry on your nights entertainment.

It is owned and run by Yok and wel known Ban Chang face and character who has previously worked in many of the other bars there.
