Pattaya high season finally starting – albeit slowly.

The high season seems like it has finally started albeit 2 weeks late. Having said that it is still very quiet compared to recent years.

Whilst Walking Street and Beach Road are crowded, many of the smaller beer bar complexes have more serving girls than customers with many remaining empty all night. Walking along 2nd and 3rd Road is often a sorry sight indeed – even some of the “deep” bars in the more popular areas are clearly struggling.

All in all its still a great atmosphere and many would argue that it’s actually better for those tourists who have made the trip. At least everyone seems to be having fun – except the girls in the empty bars that is.
